I sense the shift of seasons' endless sway,
From spring's rough trials to autumn's afterglow.

Through challenges that seemed to overflow,
I've grown, emerged from life's disarray,

A tapestry of time begins to show,
A path I've walked, where footprints gently lay,

With lessons learned and seeds of wisdom sown,
I face the coming chill without dismay,

A tranquil winter waits with softened snow,
A chance to rest, reflect, and find my way,
From spring's rough trials to autumn's afterglow.

The cycle turns, and onward I shall go,
Embracing change, both subtle and arrayed,
In the twilight of my summer's glow,

Summary:

I see children and teenagers around me and I know that I am different now, obviously. Time has passed and I’ve somehow, when not looking, crossed over. I age, we all age. We burn through a wet and chaotic spring and find ourselves in the long summer of life.

I feel the breeze, 1 degree cooler. reminding me that there is in fact, an autumn on the way. I will not cower in fear, I will not cry in anguish. I, we, will, must, face it bravely. Onwards to the end of the day, and onwards into eternity.
